 Hello. This is Hiro.
I found a patent number (No.5180993) on the package of pasta that I was given as a souvenir.

The dry pasta noodles, before boiling, have two grooves extending in the longitudinal direction on the front surface and one on the back surface. Because of this structure, the end-surface (cross section) of the noodle has substantially a W shape as it is shown in Fig.1 of Patent No. 5180993.

The grooves remained firmly on the noodles after cooking.

The noodles kneaded with olive oil were chewy, and it was very delicious because the sauce was entwined well with the grooved noodles.

How to spend holidays

#trademark

I’ve been spending my holidays and day-offs watching overseas feature-length drama series. I use the video streaming service “prime video” provided by Amazon.
This service provides not only dramas but also domestic and foreign movies, anime works, and the works you want to see are endless. I would like to touch various works and spread my knowledge.

The “prime video” logo is a trademark registration No. 6181570 and a designated product that “offer sound, music, moving images, and images with the contents of movies, documentaries, TV programs, animations, and multimedia presentations that can be searched, purchased, and rented online, ….”. Coca Cola

#trademark

May 8 is the day when the world’s first cola drink, “Coca-Cola” was released in 1886.
Coke was invented by the American pharmacist John Stith Pemberton in Atlanta and has been popular around the world for over 130 years. However, it was originally taken for medicinal purposes.
“Coca-Cola” and “Coke” are registered trademarks, and the unique shape of the container with a characteristic constriction is registered as a three-dimensional trademark. (Syszo)

I would like to introduce a patent product that we often come across in our daily lives. It is a “pet accessory”. It can be fitted on and removed easily from pets’ hair and is designed to make sure that it will not come off even if pets shake. For details, please see Japan Patent Publication No.2012-187011. Activities to prevent spread of COVID-19 in the state of emergency

For businesses between our firm and the clients, we have clarified measures to prevent spread of COVID-19, and through firm members’ working from home, web conferencing, and our head office activities, we have carried out seamless business activities before and throughout the state of emergency.

At our firm, we introduced from home, off-peak commuting, and teleworking. Also, at an early stage of the crisis, we encouraged handwashing, installed alcohol for disinfection and distributed the bottles to those who wished, wearing masks, and regularly ventilating the office.

As for economic activities, in order to avoid economic stagnation, we spare no effort in creating wisdom and contributing to activities that will lead to the construction of a new society after this corona crisis. As an example, we are supporting nearby restaurants by taking out meals from them.

We must stop further spread of infection. We hereby declare that we will do our best to sustain the symbiosis of humanity.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
